Forget aerobics and gymnastics.
I'm keeping fit with mathematics.
None of this jogging lark and malarky
round the park.
I burn up calories
swivelling my shoulder
three hundred and sixty degrees.
I become a circle
turning n two bent knees.
Now it's doubles and trebles
with toes and knuckles.
I multiply inbreath
by outbreath.
That usually works up a sweat.
Now watch me extend my arms
into parallelograms.
With a twist of the torso
I squat like a zero.
Then to test my flexibility
I stretch and stretch and stretch to
infinity.
